Bruce Graves (PMVFD and PMPO) came up with the idea of numbering the roads on Crestline and Birch Hill to make the area easier to navigate in a time of emergency. This is a map used by the Fire Department and part of their emergency evacuation plans. It is often used to give easier directions for inspectors, appraisers, delivery companies or a friend coming to visit. We owe a debt of gratitude to Bruce for this and many many, many other efforts!

You can see the numbers posted on steel stakes with a gold background and black numbers in the Crestline and Birch Hill areas.

These roads "as built" are different than they are on the maps. Access to some cabins require crossing other people's lands for which easements have not been granted. Those issues could be addressed at a later time.
